Christal Majestic is an award-winning children’s author who writes stories with heart, hope, and honesty. Her books gently open the door to life’s harder conversations—like navigating divorce, anxiety, or big emotions—without losing the warmth and wonder of childhood.

Her debut picture book, Ruby the Emotional Stingray, helped young readers name their feelings through underwater adventures and emotional insight. She continued her mission with The Backyard Detectives: Operation Family Mystery, a bridge chapter book that follows two siblings on a secret mission to uncover the truth behind their family’s sudden shift.

Family is everything to Christal. Her stories are rooted in love, resilience, and the belief that children deserve to feel seen and understood. Whether tackling emotional challenges or sparking imagination, her books encourage young readers to navigate life with heart and courage.

When she’s not writing, Christal enjoys road-tripping with her husband in their self-built overlanding truck, visiting hidden gems, and spending time near the ocean—her peaceful place. Her husband has been a constant source of encouragement, and she credits him as a key reason she followed her dream of becoming an author.
